Job description

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Provide biofeedback, neurofeedback and TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) services through body and brain computer interfaces, specific to psycho-neuro-physiological evaluations and treatments.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Connect patients to EEG, TMS and physiological measurement devices to administer evaluations and TMS treatment.

· Responsible for the data collection, data analyses, and data report generation from collected psycho-neuro-physiological findings.

· Perform additional patient training in bio/neurofeedback on a limited and supervised basis.

· Maintain and follow Bio/Neurofeedback equipment maintenance protocol. Identify problems and coordinate appropriate repairs.

· Manage equipment inventory and orders when needed.

· Perform limited case management functions, such as session documentation, and participate in case conferences and/or communication with referral sources if needed.

· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in related field (Neurosciences, Pre-Med, Psychology, Nursing, etc.) required.

· Working or academic knowledge of Psychophysiology or Psychoneurophyisology required.

· Experience or exposure to Biofeedback and Neurofeedback preferred.

· Knowledge of TMS science and treatment delivery preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

· CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

· First aid may be required based on state or facility.
