Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Food & Beverage Department and the Operations Team in the performance of supporting all departments at the venue. Administrative duties may include, but are not limited to, correspondence, suite orders, and keeping the Managers and the Operations Team organized, as well as assisting with non-game day events, basic office supply and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting daily issues that arise in everyday operations, and general clerical duties. 

This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00-$16.00

This position will remain open until October 30, 2026.

About the Venue

Home of the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds baseball team, AutoZone Park serves as a year-round venue for events of all types and purposes, located in Downtown Memphis. 

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Food & Beverage and Operations departments, ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, filing systems, and other departmental records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist managers with scheduling, calendars, meeting coordination, document preparation, and other administrative needs.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, supply requests, and other administrative paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain office supply inventories and coordinate ordering of materials and equipment as needed.
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, greet visitors, and serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support event operations by assisting with administrative preparations before, during, and after events, including distributing event documentation and coordinating logistics.
  • Maintain departmental files, contracts, permits, and operational records while ensuring compliance with company recordkeeping standards.
  • Coordinate communication between departments to ensure operational information, schedules, and updates are shared accurately and timely.
  • Assist with data entry, payroll support, timekeeping documentation, inventory records, and other administrative tracking as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot routine administrative and operational issues and escalate more complex matters to management when appropriate.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including copying, scanning, filing, mailing, and preparing documents and presentations.
  • Support special projects and administrative initiatives that contribute to the successful operation of the venue.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of business and general office experience.
  • Knowledge and skill in using computer software, including MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain open, direct, positive, and objective lines of communication with management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks calmly, professionally, and with flexibility.
  • Strong verbal and written skills; ability to communicate in a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous manner with employees, clients, vendors, business contacts, etc.
  • Ability to be self-directed in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, if necessary, as required in an event-driven environment.
  • Ability to work overtime hours, if necessary.
  • Ability to adhere to highest standards of confidentiality and discretion in all proprietary business, financial, and employee matters.
