Summary:

  • The Director of Ticketing is responsible for managing all ticketing departments to drive revenue as well as managing the operation of the ticket office to ensure all customers receive the highest level of service. This position will manage the following functions -
    • Lead a high-performance sales team to maximize all ticketing revenue
    • Work with DBH business platforms to execute all ticketing priorities
    • Frequent and accurate customer communications
    • Planning and execution of customer appreciation events and other customer promotions
    • Coordination of attendance at customer events by Storm Chasers staff
  • The Manager, Ticket Operation is responsible for set up and maintenance of the ticketing system and oversight of box office/retail personnel/operations

Responsibilities (applicable to DBH Omaha LLC):

  • Lead ticketing sales department with both outbound and inbound sales strategies
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue goals in all ticket categories
  • Ensure daily operations of the ticket office adequately address customer needs, including oversight of staff day-to-day and during events
  • Maintain/manage ticketing system to ensure ease of sales of ticket packages, single tickets, group tickets, special event tickets
  • Assist with maintenance of CRM – including annual set up of relevant products, updates to pricing, maintenance of interactions with other programs and all other items required to ensure all sales/customer data are accurate and meet needs of all departments of the organization
  • Provide relevant training to other departments on CRM and ticket system as needed
  • Oversee resolution of issues, complaints, discrepancies related to all types of ticket sales
  • Act as liaison between staff, promoters, presenters and the facility for non-Storm Chasers events
  • Build and strengthen relationships with all customers and potential customers
  • Communicate effectively with all clients and potential clients, deliver customer service that meets management expectations, including timely response to customer questions and concerns
  • Work with sales and marketing departments to implement/communicate ticket promotions to sell season, group and single-game tickets and retail promotions to sell team merchandise
  • Work with marketing and ticket provider to design and develop ticket stock and related items, negotiate ticket printing services with provider
  • Assist with promotional execution as it relates to customer relations
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business Administration or Accounting or related field preferred
  • At least three years prior ticket office, sports retail store or customer relations experience preferred
  • Prior management and leadership experience preferred
  • Prior experience with ticketing software and/or other business systems or software preferred
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and give attention to details
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate easily and effectively
  • Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Suite, Internet, and database programs
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
  • Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
