Padres Baseball & Softball Camps Site Director
Padres Baseball Camps is now hiring a Site Director for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout San Diego County.
Padres Summer Camps is looking for a Site Director in San Diego County who is energetic, positive, and who loves to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions - all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability.
We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps - from Coach to Site Director - and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13.

We are looking a Site Director who:
  • Is an experienced leader, self-starter, and excellent communicator
  • Is passionate about creating a positive impact on the lives of children, families, coaches, and the local community
  • Has experience working with children ages 4-13
  • Has experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
  • Has a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
  • Is able to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting
  • Is acutely aware of both physical and emotional safety, coupled with the ability to problem-solve in real time
  • Leads by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude

Core Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
  • Supervise, manage, and motivate staff and campers, ensuring that the camp experience is delivered at a high level
  • Execute San Diego Padres Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
  • Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
  • Highlight teachable moments for campers and coaches to learn and grow from and encourage fun each day of camp
  • Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Padres Camps stellar reputation

Qualifications for the Site Director position:
  • Be prepared to make a 10 week commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day
    • Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
  • Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
  • Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
  • Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability
  • At times be responsible for driving a rented cargo van & having a safe space to park it (Padres Baseball & Softball Camps covers the cost of fuel for the van associated with work/camp use only.)
  • At a minimum, you must be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball
  • Have experience and comfort with technology to ensure efficient camp operations

Compensation:
Pay is based on skill level and experience. The weekly range for this position is $1,360 to $1,600 per week.
