Position Summary

The Microsoft Dynamics (F & O) Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem. This individual will work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver scalable solutions that improve workflows, reporting, automation, and user experience.

Depending on experience level, the position may be hired as either a Developer II or Developer III, with increasing responsibility for solution architecture, mentoring, project leadership, and enterprise-wide initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and enjoys solving complex operational challenges through technology.

Key Responsibilities Application Development & Support
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics ( F & O) environments.
  • Build and support integrations between Dynamics and third-party applications.
  • Develop extensions, workflows, reports, dashboards, and automation tools to support business operations.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution of application defects and performance concerns.
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization efforts.
Business Process Improvement
  • Partner with accounting, finance, operations, sales, supply chain, and executive leadership to understand business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and process standardization.
  • Recommend best practices and system enhancements that align with organizational growth objectives.
Data & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, SSRS, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across applications and databases.
  • Support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.
  • Lead complex development projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and support personnel.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and long-term application strategy.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Dynamics-related initiatives.
Documentation & Governance
  • Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and development procedures.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Participate in change management and testing processes.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics development experience for Developer II (Focus on F & O).
  • 6+ years of Microsoft Dynamics development experience for Developer III (Focus on F& O).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics architecture and customization.
  • Experience with:
    • C#
    • .NET Framework/.NET Core
    • SQL Server
    • Power Platform
    • APIs and integrations
    • Azure-based technologies
  • Experience developing reports, workflows, and custom business applications.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Position requires on‑site presence at the corporate headquarters
Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance & Operations, or related Dynamics platforms.
  • Experience supporting multi‑site or multi‑state operations.
  • Knowledge of ERP implementations, acquisitions, and system consolidations.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics or Azure.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, distribution, services, or other operationally intensive industries.
Developer III Additional Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise‑level Dynamics initiatives.
  • Experience designing system architecture and integration strategies.
  • Proven ability to mentor developers and lead technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of application scalability, governance, and long‑term technology planning.
