Job Description
Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Application Analyst - Epic Beaker AP
We are seeking an Application Analyst I - Epic Beaker AP to join our Application Services team with a focus on Pathology! Our team is responsible for maintaining and support of all applications including Epic Beaker AP. MSK Pathology Laboratory is a highly complex laboratory, our team collaborates with the Pathology to develop IT solutions, especially in the Digital and Molecular Pathology arena. In this role, you will use your expert application knowledge to provide LIS management, analysis, configuration, development, testing, implementation, production support, training, Voice recognition, interface development and monitoring,
Role Overview
  • Provide application support for Pathology LIS systems including, but not limited to, interfaces, Voice recognition, Digital images, devices support.
  • Provide Project Management skills to assign projects. Lead project to achieve a successful outcome.
  • Assist with the development and provide end-user training with users at all levels. Comfortable interacting with customers
  • Assist with new modality installs including testing and connectivity to the lab information systems.
  • Prepare test plans, coordinate and conduct detailed comprehensive functional, interface, regression, integration, and post-implementation testing of new system releases to ensure readiness for enterprise deployment.

Key Qualifications
  • Epic Beaker AP certification must already be obtained.
  • Background in laboratory environments, ideally within pathology
  • Proven experience leading or supporting project execution and delivery
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical systems implementation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Strong ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in dynamic environments

Additional Information:
Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday. Provide rotating on-call coverage after hours and on weekends
Location: Hybrid; 3x a month (with flexibility as needed) at 885 3rd Ave, New York. Please note, you must live within 100 miles of NYC to be considered for this position.
