Salary/Pay Rate: $75,000 - $115,000 per year (DOE) plus Performance Based Bonus

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)

Job/Employment Type: Full Time

Project Scope: Residential and Commercial HVAC Service Department Leadership

Mandatory Licences & Certifications: EPA Universal, Registered with TDLR


The Opportunity:

You will lead the day-to-day operations of our service department, turning a talented group of technicians into a high-performing, customer-focused team. This role offers the chance to shape department culture, mentor the next generation of HVAC talent, and directly influence the growth trajectory of a stable, family-founded company that's expanding across the DFW region. Your leadership will be the driving force behind technician development, customer satisfaction, and departmental profitability.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Run the day-to-day service operation through leadership, management, and accountability of the service department.
  • Ensure service and maintenance technicians have the parts, tools, and information they need to complete their day efficiently.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new technicians while training both new hires and existing team members.
  • Host regular tech meetings and training sessions to keep the team sharp on techniques, products, and safety.
  • Conduct weekly ride-alongs and one-on-one coaching sessions to drive individual technician growth.
  • Handle customer complaints directly, resolving issues with professionalism and a solutions-first mindset.
  • Review completed invoices for accuracy, quality, and adherence to company standards.
  • Provide hands-on technical support to technicians facing complex diagnostic or repair challenges.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid EPA Universal certification required at the time of hire.
  • Registered with TDLR.
  • Proven professional experience as an HVAC technician, with prior lead tech, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop technical staff.
  • History of effective soft skills when working with clientele and resolving customer concerns.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5 or more years of dedicated residential or commercial HVAC service experience.
  • Prior experience managing or supervising a team of technicians.
  • Direct operational familiarity with the ServiceTitan platform.
  • Experience with budgeting, departmental KPIs, or P&L accountability.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
