Radiography Program Director Description

South College Indianapolis is seeking a Radiology Program Director to join the Radiology Department. This position is on ground in Carmel, IN.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the structure and daily operation of the program, including organization, administration, periodic review, and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula.
  • Maintain student data and analyze for retention rates, credential pass rate, employer/student surveys.
  • Oversee program accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Collaborate with the clinical coordinator to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of clinical affiliations
  • Maintain program budget and fiscal resources for program administration
  • Participate in department activities, including committee meetings, curriculum discussion, student solutions management, and other service activities.
  • Provide didactic instruction in the program each quarter
Requirements:

Education

  • Hold a minimum of a master's degree

Experience

  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in radiography
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program
  • Have experience in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising

Certification

  • Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Experience with JRCERT accreditation strongly preferred
