Job description

Central Illinois is seeking an additional Non-Invasive Cardiology Hospitalist to join their explanding Cardiology Division in a Big Ten University community. You will join an established team of 2 Cardiology Hospitalists with rounding support from an Advanced Practice Provider in addition to a Cardiology fellow. Join a growing team of 18 Cardiologists.
100% inpatient position.
7 on 7 off schedule with 8-hour shifts, 8AM - 5 PM.
Shared call (~10 days/month).
Comprehensive cardiac medical and surgical services in the subspecialties of heart failure, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and complex cardiac and vascular surgery.
Advanced Practice Nurses in the Cardiology Department work closely with the Cardiologists in all patient care activities.
Cover only one hospital.
Opportunity for academic appointment.
