Production Supervisor
St. Charles, MN | Relocation Assistance Available
Salary range: $70k-$75k + 10% shift differential

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop hourly production employees.
  • Monitor daily production to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
  • Conduct daily production floor walkthroughs and safety inspections.
  • Enforce food safety, quality, HACCP, USDA, and company policies.
  • Train employees on safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
  • Analyze production performance, yields, downtime, and labor efficiencies.
  • Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Lead daily communication with production teams and facilitate regular team meetings.
  • Identify process improvements that increase efficiency while reducing waste and operating costs.
  • Ensure equipment is operating safely and production schedules are achieved.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or a related field plus 2+ years of leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching, or supervising employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience improving production processes, efficiencies, and team performance.
  • Ability to analyze production data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as business needs require.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Food manufacturing or food processing experience.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, USDA, and food safety regulations.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, inventory systems, and production reporting.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, humid, and noisy manufacturing environments around moving equipment.
