Position: Infectious Disease Physician - Academic & Clinical Role
Location: Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-time
A hospital-based physician group in the Dayton region is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Infectious Disease Specialist to join its academic and clinical team. This role blends inpatient consultative care with teaching responsibilities across multiple levels of medical training.
  • Acute inpatient infectious disease consult service with some outpatient coverage
  • Manage a large and diverse HIV and complex ID patient population
  • Collaborative practice alongside advanced practice providers
  • Participation in antibiotic stewardship initiatives
  • Opportunity to lead educational activities including clinical precepting, resident and student teaching, case conferences, journal clubs, and lectures
  • Support for scholarly work and program development in clinical infectious disease

Qualifications
  • MD, DO, or MBBS
  • Completed Internal Medicine residency

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status
  • Eligible for Ohio medical licensure and DEA certification
