Direct to Consumer Loan Originators perform the following functions:

  • Engage with members through digital channels with company generated sales leads to enhance loan production, advertise and sale MIDFLORIDAs Mortgage products and services.
  • Loan Originators should be expected to manage a high volume of quality, dedicated leads.
  • Loan Originators are expected to manage their loan pipeline on a daily basis.
  • Identify the best loan solutions for borrowers by educating them on various mortgage products, interest rates, and loan terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of borrower interactions and loan progress in the CRM and loan origination systems.
  • Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with secondary market guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, lending regulations, and products to offer relevant and knowledgeable guidance to borrowers.
  • Work closely with processors, originators, underwriters, and mortgage staff to facilitate timely and efficient closings.
  • Professional and efficient communications with all departments promoting synergy.
  • Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism always.
  • Exude a positive and professional attitude with members and partners consistently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience with Mortgage Origination.
  • Proven sales experience and strong relationship building.
  • Encompass experience Preferred.
  • Construction to Permanent loan origination experience is a plus.
  • Call center experience is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Federal and State mortgage regulations.
  • Proficient with Word and Excel .
  • Exceptional time management skills .
  • Strong multi-tasking and sound decision-making skills.
  • The eligibility to meet the requirements of the SAFE Act to be registered with NMLS.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM with rotating Saturdays.
  • Ability to train in Lakeland, Tampa or Sebring areas for 6-8 weeks.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Position is “In office, NOT a remote position."
