Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and community inclusion. DSPs provide person-centered assistance in home and community settings while promoting dignity, choice, safety, and respect.

Responsibilities
Provide direct support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility assistance as needed
Support individuals in achieving goals outlined in their Person-Centered Plan (PCP)
Promote community engagement through recreational, social, educational, and volunteer activities
Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and independent living skills
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals at all times
Accurately document services provided, progress toward goals, and incident reports as required
Report to the program manager
Follow agency policies, DDA guidelines, and COMAR regulations
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Transportation is required for this position)
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
