We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide on-call, as-needed support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) homes. This is an essential role that offers flexibility while still making a meaningful impact - with the requirement that substitutes commit to working a minimum of two full shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered support in daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • Assist individuals in accessing and participating in community activities including employment, recreation, and social events.
  • Safely transport individuals using a company-provided vehicle to appointments, work, or errands.
  • Promote independence and personal development through skill-building activities.
  • Follow and implement individualized support plans and goals.
  • Document care activities and report changes in behavior, health, or overall condition.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and dignity of individuals in your care, following all emergency and safety protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings and training, as required.
  • Serve as a positive representative of Aspire in the community.
  • Maintain a respectful and supportive environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be DSP certified
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record for the past 5 years.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability and willingness to work at least two full shifts per month.
  • Ability to pass all required criminal background checks.
  • Must present original I-9 documentation in person.
  • Technological proficiency to complete documentation using computers or mobile devices.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
