Serving our clients requires an amazing team of Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Caregivers with a big heart who are willing to provide supportive services and companionship to them. If you are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver position where you have a passion to help others and truly want to make a difference in the lives of others, we would like to speak with you about joining our team.

  • Weekends

 

What we will provide you as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver:

  • $18.00- $19.00/Hour (depending on experience, longevity and behavior)
  • $3 weekend add-on rate (applies to certain shifts and conditions)
  • PTO for full time employees after 90 days of employment with cash out options
  • Never scheduled outside your availability. Overtime is at your discretion.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver you will:

  • Provide direct care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Help with daily activities including personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation
  • Work closely with a team of people including co-workers, client's family members, and medical professionals to help our clients to live as independent as possible
  • Transport clients as needed to appointments and other activities (mileage reimbursement)

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and written
  • A personal vehicle that is well maintained if transporting clients
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check

 

Preferred Experience:

  • One year working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver / Home Health Aide / Home Health Care / Personal Care experience is a plus

 

Licenses/Certifications:

  • CPR/First Aid - Provided if you are not currently certified
  • Medication Administration - Provided if you are not currently certified
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 5 points on your driving record if transporting clients
  • DODD Provider Training
  • Proof of personal auto insurance
