The Lead DSP directly supports the Program Manager and is a leader among peers, helping set the tone for a team culture rooted in respect, accountability, and continuous learning, embodying Andwell Community & Behavioral Health's commitment to person-centered, community-integrated care.ย ย 

Andwell Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. This role combines direct support responsibilities with leadership and oversight of DSP staff to help ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support services in home, community, and day program settings
  • Assist consumers with independent living skills, community engagement, communication, and daily activities
  • Supervise and support DSP staff, including scheduling, training, and documentation oversight
  • Complete assessments, ISPs, progress notes, incident reports, and other required documentation
  • Collaborate with guardians, case managers, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ensure services are delivered according to consumer goals and organizational standards
  • Provide DSP coverage as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of experience working with adults with disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and tablet proficiency
  • Valid driverโ€™s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required
