We're seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and motivated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality therapy services that empower students to succeed academically, socially, and independently.

What You'll Do

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you'll partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop the skills they need for success in school. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating students and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Providing occupational therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborating with teachers, school staff, parents, and other specialists to support student achievement.
  • Recommending adaptive equipment, classroom strategies, and environmental modifications.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to a collaborative, student-centered approach to care.
What We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Maine (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for helping children build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills.
