Job description

Make a Real Difference —
Looking for meaningful work without the full-time grind? Join our team as a part-time Direct Support Professional and help an individual in our community live a fuller, more independent life —
This isn't just a job. It's a chance to build a genuine relationship, support real growth, and see the impact of your work every single shift.
This is an in-home and Community Position — you'll work one-on-one, directly in the individual's home, providing personalized support in a comfortable, familiar setting.
THIS IS A 2:1 so there will need to always be 2 staff on shift.

Why You'll Love This Role
✔️ Flexible, part-time hours — perfect for students, caregivers, retirees, or anyone building a side income ✔️ One-on-one support — work directly with an individual in their home, not a crowded facility ✔️ Competitive hourly pay ✔️ Paid training & certification provided ✔️ Supportive, close-knit agency — you're never just a number here ✔️ Room to grow — many DSPs move into higher-paying, specialized roles as the agency expands

What You'll Do
  • Provide compassionate, respectful support with daily living activities
  • Assist with community engagement, appointments, and personal goals
  • Help implement individualized support plans
  • Build trust and consistency through reliable, caring presence

What We're Looking For
  • A patient, dependable, and caring individual
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check (FACIS/OIG screening)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous caregiving or DSP experience a plus — but not required. We'll train the right person.

About Us
The Center of Love and Hope is a DDS-approved provider agency dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live with dignity, independence, and joy. When you join us, you're not just filling a shift — you're becoming part of someone's support system and someone's story.
