Job Title: Housekeeper
Reports To: General Manager
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a boutique hotel nestled in beautiful Boulder.
This role involves cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces to the highest standard, ensuring every guest feels welcome and comfortable during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Restock room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and coffee items.
  • Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor guest spaces.
  • Notify management of any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
  • Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Follow all health and safety standards and hotel cleanliness protocols.
  • Provide friendly and respectful service to guests when encountered in hallways or rooms.

Physical & Schedule Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and move for extended periods (up to and over 8 hours per shift).
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. (laundry bags, cleaning supplies, mattresses, etc.).
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a small team.
