Job description

The Pride Lands Center of Hope Residential Treatment Center is seeking reliable and compassionate Full/ Part-Time Direct Care Staff to support male youth in a structured, therapeutic residential setting.  We provide 24-Hour Awake Supervision for our residents. Shifts are flexible but some mornings but primarily afternoon, evening, overnight and weekend hours. This key role plays a critical part in maintaining safety, consistency, and positive engagement throughout daily routines and activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care supervision to residents during all shifts.
  • Support daily routines including school transitions, meals, hygiene, and bedtime preparation
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment at all times
  • Monitor resident behavior and intervene using approved de-escalation techniques when necessary
  • Assist with activities, group programming, morning, evening and weekend schedules
  • Accurately complete shift documentation, logs, and incident reports
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and incoming overnight staff
  • Follow all Royal Oaks RTC policies, procedures, and licensing requirements
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with youth, behavioral health, residential treatment, or childcare preferred
  • Ability to manage behaviors calmly and consistently
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while following structured guidelines
  • Must pass background checks, drug screening, and required clearances
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
