Job description

Interim Personal Care and Support (Interim PCS) is seeking Direct Care Workers (DCWs) throughout the state of Delaware. 

Interim Personal Care and Support needs Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to aid our clients throughout the state of Delaware. All our DCWs are offered as many cases as they wish to take on throughout whichever area, they are comfortable in travelling. For this position, you must have your own transportation. Weekends are needed, but not required. Experience is preferred, but not required. 

**This job is PRN; it means you only work when they need you. This is based on the cases we have available and the hours that are required for each case. You can pick up any case you qualify for if it is not filled already. 
BONUS if you have weekend availability – DCW will receive $16/hr. for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications for Direct Care Workers (DCW): 

  • Valid driver's license (Required) 
  • Negative TB test result 
  • Physical Examination completed within three (3) months prior to employment. 
  • Pass a background check. 
  • Provide two (2) references. 
  • Meets the requirements of federal and/or state criminal and abuse background checks. 
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation  
  • Drug screening is required.
