Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding career? WILO is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide essential support to individuals with disabilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring resident safety and wellness at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate time sheets, note taking, documentation and staff checklist completion.
  • Light housekeeping to ensure homes are kept clean and organized during shifts.
  • Transporting residents to and from programs and activities. 
  • Maintaining professional communications and interactions with all parties including residents, parents and other staff.
  • Facilitating residents during life skills training such as personal wellness (gym time), laundry skills, personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning and other skills training.
  • Conducting Quality Assurance Checklists during shifts.
  • Other tasks associated with the care and safety of WILO NJ residents as deemed necessary by the direct supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
