Title: EstimatorLocation: Metropolitan DMV and Eastern Shore Status: Exempt, Full-Time Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 Position SummaryAnchor Construction is seeking a motivated Estimator to support the estimating and bidding process for heavy civil construction projects throughout the DMV region. This role focuses on utility, infrastructure, concrete, paving, and related civil construction projects while helping develop competitive bids that drive company growth.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare quantity takeoffs and project cost estimates. Review plans, specifications, and bid documents. Develop estimates using HCSS HeavyBid and related software. Solicit and negotiate pricing from subcontractors and vendors. Conduct site visits as needed. Prepare proposals and support bid submissions. Track bid opportunities and provide status updates. Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.Qualifications2–5 years of estimating or related construction experience.Experience with utilities, infrastructure, storm drainage, concrete, asphalt, or heavy civil construction projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
