Responsibilities
What you can expect:

  • Classroom training to develop professional skills
  • Each assignment is typically 3-6 months

Typical DutiesStudents will support a crew, project or plant team in the planning, scheduling and execution of a heavy civil construction project. Typical duties are as follows:
  • Coordinating subcontractors
  • Project Schedule Management
  • Project plans exposure
  • Preparing work plans
  • Contract Management
  • Daily reporting
  • Ordering materials
  • Change orders

Hourly Range: $23.00 - $26.00, based on experience.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalency (GED) required
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mining & Materials Engineering, Business Management, or another engineering related degree
  • Must be a team player and possess a collaborative attitude
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
