JOB DESCRIPTION
The Fox Studio Lot is looking for a Dining Room Busser to join the team.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicate with and assist managers and food servers to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and restocks/ organizes the front of the house area
  • Prepare beverage required for lunch service
  • Serve water, beverages, bread, butter/ dip, and crudité to guests and provides refills as needed
  • Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables between courses
  • Clear and clean tables after guests leave and resets vacated tables
  • Return dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to dishwashing area
  • Assist servers in serving hot beverages
  • Move/ lift chairs and tables as needed
  • Assigned side work duties for the Commissary Dining Room and Commissary Cafeteria
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Previous relevant experience as a busser, server, or server assistant in a formal dining room
  • Strong customer service background
  • Strong knowledge of table service etiquette, including how to clear, reset, and assist without interrupting guest conversations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and awareness of guest needs
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and support servers and management
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional appearance, hygiene, and grooming (adheres to uniform standards)
  • Comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure environment
  • Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. (e.g., trays, stacks of plates, glass racks, water jugs)
  • Able to stand for periods of up to 4 hours and able to bend and stoop on occasion

Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
