Founded in 1978, Micro Quality Calibration (MQC) is one of the largest privately owned metrology labs on the West Coast, serving aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, and other precision-driven industries. Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced technician specializing in Physical Dimensional Calibration. You'll ensure the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, requiring precision, organization, and communication.


Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, thread rings, rulers, radius gauges etc.)
  • Calibrate standards and generate reports
  • Inspect equipment and collaborate with engineers
  • Provide technical guidance during audits
  • Maintain safety and troubleshoot equipment


Requirements and Skills:

  • Must have proven Calibration experience
  • Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training and familiarity with ISO 17025 standards preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for potential onsite customer visits
  • Valid driver’s license, clean record, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
