Position Summary

The Facilities Tech Manager is a part-time operational role responsible for helping create and maintain clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environments across both Higher Dimension Church locations. This role oversees facility operations, preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and volunteer support to ensure church campuses are ministry-ready for worship experiences, events, and daily operations.

This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organized, operationally minded, and passionate about serving behind the scenes to help ministry thrive.

Key ResponsibilitiesFacilities Operations & Maintenance
  • Manage all aspects of church facilities across both campuses, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
  • Develop and oversee preventative maintenance plans
  • Ensure facilities remain clean, safe, organized, and welcoming
  • Coordinate repairs, renovations, and maintenance projects
  • Oversee janitorial services and facility readiness
  • Maintain accurate records for repairs, maintenance, and facility improvements
Vendor & Project Coordination
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Assist with facility upgrades, repairs, and construction projects
  • Monitor project timelines and operational needs
  • Support stewardship of the facilities maintenance budget and operational resources
Team Leadership & Volunteer Coordination
  • Recruit, organize, and support Facilities Tech volunteers
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented environment
  • Provide direction and coordination for volunteer support teams
  • Collaborate with church leadership and ministry departments to support ministry needs across both locations
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and facility regulations
  • Identify and prioritize facility improvement opportunities
  • Support special events and ministry gatherings as needed
  • Maintain operational readiness across all church environments

  • Knowledge of building maintenance and repair procedures
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar tools
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • General Contractor experience is a strong plus
  • Church or nonprofit experience preferred
Schedule

This is a part-time position supporting both Higher Dimension Church locations.

Typical schedule includes:

  • Tuesday-Thursday: Open building prior to staff arrival (before 8:45 AM)
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Additional evening availability required for special events as needed
Compensation
  • Part-Time Position
  • Annual Salary: $25,000
