Health Information Management Technician

A Health Information Management Technician who excels in this role:

  • Analyzes the assembled medical record for chart completion deficiencies in accordance with regulatory requirements and medical staff rules and regulations.
  • Ensures any deficiencies are assigned to the appropriate medical staff member and data is entered for tracking and monitoring purposes.
  • Retrieves, logs, and prints medical records as requested by physician offices, patients, other hospitals, and other entities as needed.
  • Performs data entry for stillbirth records.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in release of information practices is preferred.

Schedule: Part Time: Flexible Schedule – 5 days/week @ 4 hours/day or 3 days/week with longer hours. Start time between 8:00AM – 10:00AM

Location: Position is in Versailles, KY however, initial training will be in Georgetown. Must be willing to commute.
