Job Description

The Digital Systems Manager – AFCD will be responsible for implementing PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other digital solutions to drive efficiency and improvement across the Business Group. This person would Advance and advocate Amcor to help grow with customers, capture opportunities, and boost one culture.

In this role, the Digital Systems Manager is expected to align and support plant and business group operational continuous improvement activities by creating, developing, and maintaining digital systems for manufacturing processes and key performance indicators (KPI). This person would support “best practice” standards to reduce variation and waste, improve safety, quality, and service. The “hands‑on” manufacturing leader will foster change, create, maintain, optimize, and ensure sustainability of digital platforms. This person would maintain active accountability systems measuring inputs and outcomes KPIs.

Responsibilities Include The Following
  • Collaborate with CI Team and cross-functional teams across AFCD to create, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and data models to drive business insights for key performance indicators (KPI) supporting plant and business group metrics.
  • Develop additional operating model management practices, skills, and tools as needs are identified.
  • Enhance the organization’s digital skills, including training, coaching and development of team members.
  • Work across the business group supporting safety, quality, finance, production, operations, etc. through digital platforms
Position Requirements
  • Strong ability to create new models, maintain them, and optimize data models.
  • Interactive dashboard design and development
  • PowerBI proficiency - developer / architect preferred
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Tableau, Cognos, JDE, and digital systems
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and troubleshoot issues
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience - computer science / computer engineering / IT / Data science +5 years preferred
  • Ability to travel (25%).
