Responsibilities
  • Pod Strategy Leadership & Account Growth: Lead programmatic and omnichannel strategy across the pod, including planning direction, budget allocation guidance, and opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and new solution adoption.
  • Client Engagement: Build trusted client relationships and participate in RFP presentations, QBRs, and educational sessions as a senior strategic partner and subject matter expert.
  • Custom Proposal & Pitch Leadership: Own large custom proposals and pitch narratives with full oversight of structure, differentiation, and client-ready storytelling.
  • Team Mentorship & Development: Mentor and support Strategy Managers through feedback, guidance, and shadowing opportunities to elevate strategic thinking, output quality, and adoption of new tools and workflows.
  • Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, AI adoption, Elevate, and emerging strategic capabilities, sharing best practices that improve pod-level performance and client work.

Experience & Skills
  • 7-10 years of experience in strategy and planning within agency settings.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic platforms and omnichannel DSPs, including DV360, TTD, StackAdapt, Xandr, Amazon, Yahoo, etc.
  • Proven track record of success with major CPG clients and other key accounts, emphasizing communications planning.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with expertise in storytelling through PowerPoint and/or Google Slides.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead teams effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in audience segmentation, creative strategy, and comprehensive media planning.
  • Ability to identify practical ways AI tools, custom assistants, and light automation can improve pod workflows, proposal development, research, and team efficiency; technical engineering experience is not required.
