Manager, Digital Partnership Marketing
LA28 is looking for a strategic and innovative Manager, Digital Partnership Marketingto join the Digital Engagement & Marketing (DIG) team.
The Manager, Digital Partnership Marketing will manage and support the implementation of all the digital packages that we need to deliver for LA28 partners. This role will work closely and collaboratively with our Partnership Marketing and overall Marketing team. This role is pivotal in strategically building, managing, and ensuring fulfillment of all digital marketing assets across our partnership portfolio. A successful candidate will be obsessed with ensuring all the partnership elements across social media, website, mobile app, and email marketing channels are delivered seamlessly, on time, and drive measurable ROI for our partners. This person will be a key protector of the LA28 brand and a key contributor in building a legacy for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement through the lens of the fans and athletes.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of digital storyteller, partnership marketing, and fan experience. This role will report to the VP, Marketing and Digital Engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Campaign Execution & Fulfillment
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of all contracted digital assets, including custom branded content series, website placements, mobile app integrations, social media activations, and targeted CRM/email campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with internal Digital Content, Social Media, Web, App, CRM, and Editorial teams to seamlessly embed partner messaging into the owned digital ecosystem while preserving a premium fan experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Relationship Management
  • Collaborate and co-create with VP of Marketing and Digital Engagement and Digital team leaders to drive partner engagement, deeply understanding client business objectives and translating them into high-impact digital opportunities
  • Cultivate a strong, collaborative relationship with the core Partnership Marketing team to align on sponsor goals, fulfill contractual obligations, and unlock custom digital integrations
  • Ability to coordinate and liaison between LA28's Digital team and other Digital stakeholders of external partners

Analytics, Reporting & Presentations
  • Develop and implement performance reporting frameworks to track and optimize KPIs across all digital partnership platforms
  • Create comprehensive presentation decks and post-activation recap reports that clearly demonstrate ROI and value delivery to corporate partners
Background & Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-8 5+years of direct experience in sports business or related marketing environment
  • Hands on experience developing and leading relationships with strategic partners
  • Strong operational and program execution skills required
  • Strong cross-functional skills, and a capacity for creativity/innovation
  • Excellent presentation preparation skills and ability to work successfully with varied audiences (internal and external stakeholders: digital team, partnership team, fans/spectators, and senior members of the organization)
  • Knowledge and first-hand experience within the sports marketing industry. Experience in the Olympic or Paralympic Movements is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Clear communicator with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
  • The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
  • Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000.00 -$115,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
