This position operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining regular business hours. While most of your work will be conducted independently from your home office, occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary to accommodate community events or special programs. You will have access to an array of digital communication tools to connect with clients and collaborate with team members effectively.

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive assessments to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients.
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling using evidence-based methodologies that cater to diverse client backgrounds.
• Develop tailored service plans that articulate clients’ goals and outline actionable steps toward achieving positive outcomes.
• Actively advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and fighting for social justice within the community.
• Engage in program development and evaluation, contributing to grant proposals and performance reports to support ongoing operational funding.
• Collaborate effectively with community partners, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance service delivery and expand outreach opportunities.
• Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and community engagement activities, fostering a collaborative workplace culture centered on continuous learning.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals and families facing a multitude of challenges, including mental health issues, socioeconomic barriers, and varying degrees of trauma. Many clients will belong to marginalized communities in Philadelphia, requiring culturally competent approaches and a strong understanding of intersectional social justice issues.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles, social justice advocacy, and available community resources is essential.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working within a nonprofit organization or community health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting tools used in nonprofit settings may enhance efficiency in fulfilling job responsibilities.
• Previous experience participating in or leading community outreach programs will be advantageous in this role.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, along with a sign-on bonus. Benefits include:
