Bright Star Counseling is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our dedicated team in a remote capacity, working with individuals in a Detox Center setting. This full-time position primarily focuses on supporting seniors and their families, enhancing their well-being and improving their quality of life through tailored interventions and compassionate care. Work Environment

This role is designed as a remote position, allowing flexibility while promoting work-life balance. You will engage primarily digitally and through telephone communication with your clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Crossing traditional boundaries of care, our Detox Center setting offers a unique environment where you can help clients transition safely and effectively, contributing to their recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of seniorsโ€™ psychosocial needs, assessing their emotional, mental, and social health.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and their families to create personalized care plans that reflect their specific goals and preferences.
  • Provide counseling and emotional support, assisting seniors and families through life transitions, relationship dynamics, and challenges associated with aging.
  • Advocate for clients to ensure their access to essential community resources and support services, enhancing their overall care experience.
  • Work in tandem with healthcare professionalsโ€”including nurses, caregivers, and therapistsโ€”to develop and implement integrated care strategies.
  • Facilitate regular virtual check-ins to monitor clientsโ€™ mental health and living situations, addressing any emerging concerns or safety issues.
  • Engage family members in the care process, mediating conflicts and ensuring clear communication among all parties.

Qualifications
