Level II Limited/Profile Digital Radiographer

NVI, LLC is seeking to hire several highly motivated and career minded nondestructive testing professionals to fill immediate openings within our Mechanical Integrity Division.

The Level II Limited/Profile Digital Radiographer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job descriptions:

  • Perform Level II DR profile inspections and other NDE inspections as specified with the Company's procedures;
  • Operate and maintain Digital Radiography equipment, software, and hardware as per company requirements and manufacturer's recommendations;
  • Establish and calibrate testing equipment and materials;
  • Calculate, establish, and control the radiation area;
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results;
  • Evaluate and interpret product results to the code of construction or customer specifications;
  • Organize and report test results;
  • Responsible for producing quality radiographs;
  • Able to meet travel expectations;
  • Capable of managing long term projects;
  • Communicating with customer/client representatives on daily basis;
  • Responsible for returning a completed product in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures;
  • Required to establish and manage all safety procedures and functions throughout a project;
  • Able to train assistants efficiently in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures and NVI, LLC's SNT-TC-1A written practice;
  • Effective at meeting deadlines set forth by management or clientele;
  • Maintain and promote a positive attitude while on projects; and,
  • Any other assignment necessary to meet Level II responsibilities set forth by the Company.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.;
  • Current Level II limited / profile Digital Radiography certification;
  • Valid State Radiographer's card or IRRSP card;
  • 40 hours of documented RT training;
  • 16 hours of documented DR Software/Hardware training (GE/Waygate or DR Tech preferred);
  • List of projects managed as a Level II limited / profile Digital Radiographer;
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and able to pass Motor Vehicle History Evaluations;
  • Able to pass an FBI background verification in accordance with Company's Increased Controls program;
  • Able of passing Company's Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures; and,
  • Able of passing Company's Level II limited profile Radiography certification process.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • ANST/ACCP Level II RT,CR,MT,PT,UTT Certifications, or documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods ;
  • Able to pass Company's Level II limited / profile certification process;
  • Able to read P&ID's, SFD's, and field drawings;
  • Accurately draw piping and isometric field sketches;
  • LVL II DR weld quality experience;
