The Senior Director of Digital & Process Transformation leads enterprise-wide initiatives that modernize business processes, digitize operations, and translate strategic intent into scalable execution. This role is accountable for driving measurable performance improvement across commercial, supply chain, operations, and corporate functions by deploying digital capabilities, lean/agile ways of working, and robust governance.
Operating at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, the Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership and functional heads to remove friction in complex, matrixed organizations, deliver growth and productivity outcomes, and embed a continuous improvement culture.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Digital & Process Transformation Leadership
  • Lead the design and execution of multi-year digital and process transformation roadmaps aligned to enterprise strategy and growth objectives.
  • Identify, prioritize, and scale digital use cases (data, analytics, automation, AI-enabled workflows) that improve speed, quality, cost, and customer experience.
  • Integrate digital tools and platforms into core business processes across sales, product, supply chain, manufacturing, and corporate functions.

Process Excellence & Operating Model Evolution
  • Drive end-to-end process redesign using Lean, Agile, and systems-thinking methodologies to eliminate waste and improve cross-functional flow.
  • Partner with functional leaders to evolve operating models, governance, and decision rights that enable faster execution and clearer accountability.
  • Lead regional or global process standardization efforts while balancing local business needs.

Portfolio, Program & Value Management
  • Own a transformation portfolio with clear investment cases, outcomes, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and value realization plans. Publish KPIs monthly to track the value generated from our digital investments, especially post-launch.
  • Govern complex, cross-functional programs ensuring on-time delivery, benefits realization, and leadership alignment.
  • Track and communicate financial and operational impact, including productivity gains, cost savings, working capital improvements, and revenue enablement.

Change Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to ambiguous, high-impact initiatives.

Segment Advocacy
  • Collaborate with various business functions to understand segment challenges and convert them to value creation opportunities. Act as the focal for the entire segment including global operations.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Build and lead a high-performing Business Process Analyst team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and thought leadership.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, process excellence, strategy, or operational leadership in industrial, electrical, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven success leading enterprise or regional transformation initiatives with measurable financial and operational outcomes.
  • Strong background in Lean, Agile, portfolio/program management, and digitally enabled process improvement.
  • Experience influencing at the VP and SVP level without direct authority.
  • Strong knowledge of business systems like CRM, ERP, cloud technologies, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Sound experience working in scaled agile environments.
  • Ability to lead, organize, motivate, and develop direct and matrix teams and organizations.
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally, up to 20%.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$204,400.00 - $304,000.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
