This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Northrop GrummanSpace Systemsis seeking a Manager Contract Administration 3 to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Space Security Contracts team. This is a unique opportunity to build experience, mentoring relationships, and career growth by contributing to the Contracts role. This position is on-site in Dulles, VA.

The Manager Contract Administration 3 will produce high quality Contract Management related products supporting one of our world class operating units under the NGSP Space Superiority Division (SSD) Mission Capabilities & Operations (MCO) Business Unit. This position requires a deep understanding of DoW contracting, commercial contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, customer intimacy, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

The Manager Contract Administration 3 will be responsible for business strategy, risk mitigation, and development for the contracts professional and a member of MCO Contracts leadership team. This position requires the ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks. The Manager Contract Administration 3 must possess the ability to collaborate well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, and meet the goals/objectives of the operating unit.

Roles and responsibilities of the Manager Contract Administration 3 will include the following: Oversee the administration, extension, and negotiation of OU contracts. Conducts customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Lead a team of contract professionals.

Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Evaluate and present risk and mitigation plans. Implement OU strategic goals, and advise senior leadership of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and establish infrastructure that enables maintenance of historical information.

Implement policy and procedures, interview candidates, and support functional growth and development. May be required to travel to support customer and company engagements. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 10 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 8 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree. Requires an active U.S

Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access Strong technical acumen in contract management Strong technical acumen in M365 Financial acumen An in-depth knowledge of FAR, DFAR and experience with different contract types Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to use them in informing, presenting, and negotiating to all levels of management. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
