As a Junior Digital Project Manager, you will support the delivery of digital projects from concept through to completion, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly, stays on track, and meets client expectations.

Youโ€™ll work closely with senior team members, developers, and stakeholders to coordinate tasks, track progress, and identify potential risks or blockers early. This is a handsโ€‘on role where youโ€™ll build your experience in managing projects while contributing to structured, efficient delivery.

About You

You have a genuine interest in digital and technology, and youโ€™re keen to build your career in project management. Youโ€™re organised, proactive, and comfortable working with both technical and nonโ€‘technical teams.

Youโ€™re developing your ability to understand how digital products are built, and can translate technical information into clear, simple updates for wider stakeholders.

  • Support the delivery of software projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality are maintained
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, including timelines, tasks, and resource tracking
  • Work with project teams to ensure requirements are understood and progress is clearly tracked
  • Help identify risks and issues, escalating where needed and supporting mitigation actions
  • Support coordination of internal teams and thirdโ€‘party partners
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders on project progress
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of key project documentation, including statements of work, project requirements, MoSCoW prioritisation, RAID logs, and RACI matrices

  • Support finance processes, tracking time and ensuring alignment with billing
  • Contribute to internal projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Day-to-day Benefits
  • Paid Holiday โ€“ 25 paid days off plus all UK bank holidays.
  • Hybrid Working โ€“ A minimum of 1 day a week in the office is our requirement, the rest is completely up to you. During your probation period, weโ€™d like to see you at least 2 days a week.
  • Flexible Work Hours โ€“ Our core working hours are 10am - 2pm. We need you to work those (unless youโ€™re booked off). Outside of that, work when you want as long as you complete your 35 hour week and it fits with your project delivery requirements.

  • Volunteer Days โ€“ New Icon organise 1 day a year for every employee. You donโ€™t have to take part, but if you do, great. Or if you want to arrange your own day, then do so.
  • Paid Parental Leave โ€“ Maternal, paternal and/or adoptive leave in line with UK law.
  • Paid Bereavement Leave โ€“ When the worst happens to someone close to home, donโ€™t worry, take the time off that you need. Youโ€™ll get 2 weeks off fully paid and weโ€™ll arrange a phased return after.

  • Remote Working Abroad โ€“ Fancy getting out of the UK but still want to work? Take a maximum of 8 weeks per tax year and work wherever you want around the globe. Ideally itโ€™ll fit around our core working hours in the UK although there is room for manoeuvre!
  • Tech Setup โ€“ When you start weโ€™ll kit you out with a brand new Macbook, mouse and keyboard for free. Of course you will have to return it to us if you leave.
  • Pension Contributions โ€“ Weโ€™ll match your pension contributions up to 3%. You can still contribute more yourself at a minimum of 5%. This means a minimum of 8% of your monthly salary will go into your pension pot every month.
