What you'll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths to ensure cross-functional alignment and on-time program execution. 
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Design, R&D, and Operations to deliver high-quality product features. Support alignment across teams by clarifying requirements, identifying potential blockers, and proposing well-reasoned solutions. 
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners, presenting solutions that align with broader business goals. Be a natural relationship builder and clear communicator. 
  • Operationalize products: Oversee the roll-out of technical solutions to the marketplace, ensuring performance, reliability and consumer adoption achieve agreed upon outcomes. 
  • Drive technical excellence: Collaborate with engineering teams to make informed trade-offs and support scalable, secure product development. Apply working knowledge of APIs, data systems, and platform capabilities to contribute to sound technical decisions. 

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. 
  • This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
What you'll bring

  • 8+ years of program management experience, with a strong emphasis on technical platforms and service tools. 
  • Demonstrated success in building and launching complex digital experiences enjoyed by millions of people around the world. 
  • Experienced with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet, and project reporting dashboards. 
  • Proficient with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) and eager to integrate them into your workflow 
  • Automotive experience is a plus but not required. 

Technical Expertise: 

  • Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and cloud technologies. 
  • Experience with enterprise-level systems such as CRM, ERP, or service management platforms. 

Skills: 

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence and align diverse stakeholders. 
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks to keep programs on track. 
  • Support frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or SAFe to drive continuous improvement and delivery efficiency. 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $140,000.00 - $170,000.00
