Position Summary

Newrez is seeking a strategic marketing leader to serve as Senior Director, Paid Digital Marketing. This role owns Paid Digital strategy end‑to‑end: from current performance channels to emerging platforms, and inclusive of near‑term growth goals to long‑term brand and business outcomes. The incumbent will be a primary voice in defining the martech roadmap and vendor/agency partnerships to enable success. The ideal candidate will take a collaborative, customer‑first, data‑driven approach to designing GTM and expansion plans, through a measured test‑and‑learn mindset. This role requires deep cross‑functional collaboration, expertise in paid digital marketing and marketing technology, lifecycle marketing, marketing measurement, and performance optimization.

DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead Paid Digital program.
  • Responsible for all Newrez DTC Paid Digital strategies across current and new platforms and publishers, including but not limited to search, social, display, programmatic, other emerging platforms (e.g., AI‑powered).
  • Develop and lead a profitable customer growth strategy, across customer expansion (cross‑sell, recapture) and prospect acquisition goals.
  • Effectively activate on Brand campaign plans, and support additional organization priorities as needed, e.g., Recruiting, Joint Venture, Retail, and Correspondent businesses.
  • Drive Paid Digital‑related martech, vendor, and measurement strategy.
  • Be an informed and active voice in identifying the right martech stack to drive paid digital scale and impact.
  • Help identify, select, and lead vendor and agency partnerships to deliver on program outcomes.
  • Develop sound, insights‑driven GTM and expansion strategies that leverage actionable experimental test design to inform reliable measurement.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in paid digital or related leadership roles, preferably within mortgage, consumer financial services, fintech, or enterprise‑level B2C/B2B environments.
  • Deep expertise in paid digital strategy across customer growth and brand outcomes.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable impact across paid digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology, marketing analytics, and experimental test design.
  • Experience managing large‑scale budgets, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional initiatives.
  • B2C experience is essential, with B2B (or B2B2C) preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Working on‑site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
Compensation

A good faith estimate of the compensation is: $119,600.00 – $219,120.00. Compensation for this position may also include other elements, including medical, financial, various paid time off benefits, and a bonus based on individual and company performance, variable or annual. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, etc.
