Job Description - Director Digital Program ManagerLocation- 140 Broadway, New York
The Role:

• Ability to manage software development projects and deployment/installation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate programs by leading alignment on program scope, release planning, aligning one or more teams on vision, business goals, create program structure, and securing cross-functional support.
• Lead project team meetings with key stakeholders for each program to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues. Be the driver to ensure business goals are met and support the strategic vision of each program.
• Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability.
• Utilize mobile networks and device management technologies. Manage relationship with product vendors.
• Develop a Service Portfolio to Support New Device Support/Diagnostics/Provisioning Methods/Trouble Shooting, in addition to the implementation of New Value-Added Services such as Application Software Updates/Security/Customer Service.
• Develop strong partnerships with functional leaders to drive focus on business objectives. Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.
• Support workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics review, milestones, etc. (cross functional – development, operations, client installers, etc.)
• Provide visibility to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through status reporting to all stakeholders
• Manage “program/feature” dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and stakeholders.
• Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
• Provide regular program reviews and updates at sprint reviews (deep dive into current state of project goals, risks, escalations).
• Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning.
• Be a thought leader within the organization, someone who can help advance our Product & Technology strategy globally and challenge others in the organization to change.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/ Computer Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Information technology or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years Enterprise Software program/ project management experience on progressively more complex and simultaneous programs.
• 3+ years excellent track record of successfully implementing and managing cloud/SAAS product development programs; keen understanding of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.
• Thorough understanding of Agile software development and infrastructure processes.
• PMP and scrum certifications preferred.
• Hardware, software and field deployment experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on leadership.
• Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment consisting of software engineering, hardware engineering, operational infrastructure, product management, and deployment engineering
• Organizes and plans implementation of physical work – experience in construction projects a plus
• Ability to establish credibility and rapport with executives and technical and non-technical team members alike.
• Energetic self-starter passionate about professional integrity and excellence with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment where you must take on multiple responsibilities and do what it takes to get things.
