Job description

Digital Transformation Lead (EPC) — Build the Digital Backbone of a Scaling Industrial Giant

Carson City, NV | Full-Time | $140,000 – $180,000

The Opportunity

Most digital transformation jobs mean maintaining someone else's roadmap. This one means writing it. Our client — a rapidly scaling clean energy innovator — is hiring a Digital Transformation Lead to define and execute the digital strategy for their entire EPC organization: streamlining workflows, integrating enterprise systems, and building in-house tools (including AI-augmented development) that connect design, engineering, and construction. You'll own the systems today and grow a dedicated digital innovation team tomorrow.

Why You'll Love It

  • Blank-canvas authority: Own the EPC digital roadmap end to end
  • Builder's role: Develop internal tools with AI-augmented coding, not just administer vendor software
  • Team-building trajectory: Grow and lead a dedicated digital innovation function
  • Nevada advantage: No state income tax, Tahoe nearby

What You'll Do

  • Own and execute the EPC digital roadmap
  • Integrate external software and develop internal solutions and add-ons
  • Streamline data flow and collaboration across enterprise systems into a single source of truth
  • Boost productivity with automated workflows and in-house tools built using AI-augmented coding
  • Partner with EPC, Operations, and Engineering to solve workflow challenges
  • Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of digital platforms
  • Build governance, training, and adoption programs
  • Lead vendor management and system integrations
  • Serve as EPC's digital subject matter expert and advisor

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years in digital transformation, systems integration, or enterprise software operations within EPC, engineering consulting, construction, or energy
  • Proven leadership of technical and cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of EPC workflows and project lifecycles (utility-scale solar/BESS a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with Workday, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Oracle, and P6
  • Expertise in data architecture, APIs, and BI tools — Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL
  • Experience with AI tools and AI-supported engineering (Claude Code or similar)
  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business (Master's a plus)
  • Excellent communication and change management skills
