Job description

Position Summary:

As a Manufacturing Lead - Line, you play a crucial role as a lead figure in the department, bridging information from supervisors and upper management to your team. Operating in larger departments and acting as a lead/delegator on the production floor, your focus is on ensuring product quality, meeting customer specifications, and consistently achieving efficiency and productivity targets. In addition to providing hands-on direction to associates, you coordinate tasks, demonstrate job instructions to new hires, and occasionally step in for Assistant Supervisors and Supervisors.

1st Shift Between:Must be available to work either 5:00 AM - 1:30 PMor6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Peak season schedule may vary based on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support daily production and workflow in the art room.
  • Operate art room machines and digital printing equipment.
  • Train and assist new or temporary team members.
  • Monitor production quality and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory counts.
  • Communicate with supervisors and other departments to meet production goals.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on equipment.
  • Assist in other areas as needed and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a printing facility, print shop, or digital printing environment required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic computer and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and nights during peak seasons.
  • Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Works well with others and maintains a positive attitude.
  • Able to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable learning new equipment and processes.
  • Takes initiative and helps support team success.

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $17.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
