    About the Role

    As Senior Manager, Digital Insights & Optimization, you will lead Kohl's digital insights and optimization capabilities, providing the trusted business and experience intelligence needed to inform decisions and continuously improve the digital customer experience. This role serves as the strategic bridge between business performance and digital customer experience. You will lead digital measurement, reporting, tagging, and business insights that enable Digital, Merchandising, Marketing, and Technology teams to make confident, data-informed decisions. You will also lead and operationalize Kohl’s digital experience intelligence, connecting customer and behavioral signals to fuel continuous optimization. Working collaboratively across the enterprise, you will identify opportunities, measure impact, validate solutions through experimentation, and enable teams to improve customer experiences and business performance.

    What You’ll Do

    • Define and execute Kohl's digital measurement and insights strategy, delivering trusted, actionable intelligence across the digital ecosystem

    • Serve as the strategic insights partner across Digital, Merchandising, Marketing, Technology, and cross-functional teams, delivering trusted reporting, KPI measurement, digital performance, journey, category and content insights, and responsive analytical support that drives informed business decisions

    • Establish and implement enterprise standards for measurement, KPI governance, tagging, data quality, and reporting, while democratizing trusted insights through dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting

    • Partner with Technology and vendors to evolve measurement platforms, tagging infrastructure, and data collection capabilities that enable trusted, scalable insights

    • Lead and operationalize digital experience intelligence by connecting behavioral analytics, journey analytics, experimentation, session replay, VOC, customer service feedback, UX research, and AI-enabled insights to uncover opportunities and optimize digital experiences

    • Lead the enterprise digital experimentation operating model, including intake, governance, test sequencing, measurement standards, and outcome evaluation, enabling rigorous experimentation and inform business decisions

    • Leverage a holistic view of digital customer behavior to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, quantify customer and business impact, and provide data-driven insights that inform digital strategy and experimentation

    • Operationalize a continuous learning and optimization framework connecting behavioral insights, customer feedback, and experimentation outcomes to inform ongoing digital experience improvements

    • Champion customer-centric, data-informed decision making by connecting digital customer behavior with measurable business outcomes

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to Digital, Merchandising, Marketing, and Technology leaders by translating digital measurement and experience intelligence into trusted insights that inform strategic planning, customer experience optimization, and experimentation

    • Partner with the Analytics COE to connect digital experience intelligence with broader customer and business insights, enabling a more holistic view of customer behaviors across digital and enterprise initiatives

    • Advance analytical maturity and a culture of experimentation through governance, best practices, training, knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and collaborative problem solving

    What Skills You Have

    Required

    • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field

    • 7+ years of experience leading digital insights, measurement, optimization, experimentation, customer insights, or digital strategy

    • 5+ years of experience managing high-performing teams

    • Expertise in digital measurement, behavioral analytics, experimentation, and experience intelligence platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey

    Preferred

    • Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in analytics and optimization

    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R
