Job description

JOB OVERVIEW

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for owning, executing, and optimizing all digital marketing efforts for Tessie's. This role focuses heavily on social media content creation and management, digital campaign execution, and performance tracking to drive brand awareness, guest engagement, and in-venue traffic.

 In addition to digital ownership, this role includes a limited, strategic demand-generation component through social visibility, relationship building, and selective on-site engagement. This is not a traditional promoter role, but a digital-first position focused on converting online engagement into real-world visitation.

 JOB EXPECTATIONS 

Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution 

Own and execute the venue's digital marketing strategy across social media, paid media, email marketing, website content, and local listings.

Develop and manage monthly and campaign-based digital marketing calendars aligned with events and business goals.

Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Google and Meta.

Manage website updates, event landing pages, and digital content to ensure accuracy, conversion, and brand alignment.

Oversee Google Business Profile and third-party listing platforms to maximize local visibility and guest discovery.

Manage digital marketing budgets and optimize spend based on performance and ROI.

Social Media Content Creation & Management 

Own the venue's social media strategy and day-to-day execution across all platforms.

Plan, create, and publish engaging social media content including posts, stories, reels, and short-form video.

Develop and manage social media content calendars aligned with events, programming, and campaigns.

Actively manage posting, engagement, community interaction, and direct messages.

Capture and oversee on-site photo and video content to support marketing initiatives.

Monitor trends, platform updates, and competitive activity to continuously evolve content strategy.

Ensure social media efforts drive measurable outcomes including traffic, attendance, and engagement.

Performance Tracking & Reporting 

Track, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance across social, paid media, email, website traffic, and listings.

Provide insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns and improve results.

Ensure digital marketing efforts are outcome-driven and aligned with business goals.

Influencer, Email & Campaign Marketing 

Identify, propose, and coordinate influencer partnerships that align with brand positioning and performance goals.

Execute email marketing campaigns to promote events, announcements, and initiatives.

Collaborate with creative, design, and content partners to develop marketing assets.

Demand Generation & Local Engagement 

Act as a brand ambassador for Tessie's through social visibility, strategic networking, and selective on-site presence.

Attend key events or high-impact nights on a limited basis to capture content and support digital campaigns.

Leverage personal and professional networks to help drive awareness and attendance. 

Note: This role does not include table sales, guest list management, hosting, or traditional nightlife promoting duties.

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

Communicate and coordinate with Operations, Sales, and Events teams to align marketing efforts with in-venue execution.

Participate in weekly marketing and planning meetings.

Ensure marketing materials and digital messaging are accurately reflected across platforms.

Compliance & Professional Standards 

Follow all company, department, division, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Maintain a professional, positive, and brand-forward demeanor both online and in person.

Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

 REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong emphasis on social media content creation and management.

Experience managing paid digital advertising, email marketing, website content, and analytics.

Strong understanding of digital performance metrics and reporting.

Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, operations, and sales teams.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required for content capture and key events.

Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and performance-driven.

At least 21 years of age.

 CERTIFICATIONS, LICENCES OR REGISTRATIONS 

  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations. )


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 50-100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
  • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
  • Physically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time.

 WORKING CONDITIONS 

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke
