The Opportunity

As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will shape and drive the digital marketing strategies and activation initiatives that fuel Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales growth, brand loyalty, and consumer engagement across our portfolio of wine brands. You balance high-level strategic vision with an operational, hands-on approach to plan and execute high-performing campaigns driving results to business goals. 

In this role, you will own the overarching planning, strategy, and performance reporting for our core online consumer touchpoints; including web and e-commerce platforms, paid performance media, CRM/email channels, and organic social ecosystems. Collaborating closely with our Brand, Creative Services, and Hospitality teams, you will act as the digital bridge connecting our estate experiences with our online ecosystems.

This is a role for a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to optimize workflows, collaborate directly with specialized partners, and guide tactical execution. What You’ll Do:

  • Setthe Digital/SocialStrategy foreachwinerythrough cross-functional collaboration with theMarketing and Creative Services teams.
  • Lead and champion all strategic digital marketing activation, processes, and innovation initiatives including programs and communications deployed through core digital channels including paid performance media, email marketing, CRM systems, web experiences, and organic social.
  • Accountable for thedigital/social budgetwithin the context of the overall marketing budget.
  • Direct and collaborate with specialized contractors to optimize paid performance marketing and email campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand goals and relevant reporting.
  • Oversee the development and execution of digital content calendars across all wineries, balancing team capacity with strategic marketing goals while ensuring seamless stakeholder alignment and onboarding.
  • Partner with Creative team to guide asset development, providing clear briefs, platform best practices, and performance data to ensure content achieves business/marketing objectives.
  • Oversee portfolio-wide website strategy and performance; collaborate cross-functionally to ensure web properties align with marketing goals while guiding the internal team on execution, maintenance, and product rollouts.
  • Maintain and evolve the established KPI and reporting framework, refining templates to ensure all digital initiatives capture actionable insights and drive data-backed marketing decisions.
  • Stay at the forefront of the digital landscape, identifying and reviewing emerging marketing tools, including AI applications and automation, to drive workflow efficiency and improve results.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor of Marketing/Business, Communication or related field
  • 5-8 years progressive experience in Marketing, with3-5years of experiencespecifically focusedin digital marketing. 
  • Strategy & brand profiling experience – bonus if the experience is in Luxury Retail, Hospitality, CPG, or the WineIndustry. 
  • Proven experience with Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce, customer lifecycle segmentation, SEO/GEO, and full-funnel digital marketing strategies. 
  • Familiarity with modern marketing technologies, automation tools, and data analytics to optimize workflows and campaign tracking (e.g., ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Meta Business Suite, WordPress, Commerce7, GA4, Looker Studio, Power BI, Asana, or equivalent tools). 
  • Excellent verbal and flawless communication skillswith a strong aptitude for writing. 
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver results across multiple brands and projects. 
  • Skilled in multi-channel budget tracking and optimization; able to align spend with business priorities by reviewing channel performance alongside contractors and internal team members. 
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines for alcohol advertising and digital marketing (e.g., BC LCRB and CRTC regulations for marketing alcohol and platform-specific age-gating policies). 
  • Solid understanding of data privacy standards and email compliance guidelines, specifically Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, managing individual performance and setting clear objectives to align team outputs with overarching business goals.
