Job description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented YouTube & Digital Content Manager to oversee the scheduling, publishing, optimization, and performance of our video content across YouTube and other digital platforms.


This role is ideal for someone who understands both the creative and operational sides of digital video. Youโ€™ll manage the content publishing calendar, optimize videos for performance, coordinate livestreams, monitor analytics, perform quality control, and ensure content is polished, properly formatted, and published on schedule.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, understands YouTube best practices, and has a strong eye for what makes video content perform.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the production agenda and content publishing schedule.
  • Schedule, publish and distribute all video content across YouTube, Spotify, Substack, Rumble, and other designated platforms.
  • Create and optimize video titles, descriptions, metadata, tags, captions, thumbnails, end screens, cards, playlists, and channel sections.
  • Maintain consistent branding, formatting, and publishing standards across all content.
  • Ensure videos meet platform and quality standards before publishing.
  • Troubleshoot upload, scheduling, formatting, and publishing issues as needed.
  • Schedule and set up recurring and special livestreams through Restream.
  • Edit, prepare, and schedule short-form videos using Opus and other editing tools.
  • Assist with trimming, captions, graphics, transitions, and other video editing needs.
  • Identify new video topics, formats, publishing opportunities, and content trends that can support channel growth.
  • Monitor channel performance using YouTube Analytics and other reporting tools.
  • Track key performance metrics including views, watch time, audience retention, engagement, subscriber growth, click-through rate, and traffic sources.
  • Prepare regular performance reports highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve audience growth, content performance, and monetization.
  • Review completed videos for quality, accuracy, formatting, and publishing readiness.
  • Support community management and audience engagement initiatives as needed.


Qualifications


  • Experience managing YouTube channels, digital video content, or content publishing operations.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube Studio, YouTube Analytics, SEO, metadata, thumbnails, and channel optimization.
  • Experience creating and managing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and organized data sets.
  • Experience scheduling and publishing long-form, short-form, and livestream content.
  • Strong understanding of digital content performance metrics, including CTR, retention, watch time, and engagement.
  • Experience with basic to intermediate video editing and short-form content creation.
  • Comfortable editing videos and handling basic to intermediate video editing tasks as part of the role.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging titles, descriptions, and other video copy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring publishing schedules.
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Restream, Opus, Frame, Spotify, Substack, Rumble, and Instagram is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot publishing and formatting issues.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
