We are seeking a business-oriented and technology-savvy Marketing Technologist - IT to join our Grooming IT Digital team in Boston. In this role, you will work at the intersection of Marketing, IT, Digital Product Management, eCommerce, CRM, consumer data, analytics, GEO/SEO, and platform operations. You will help own, optimize, and evolve MarTech capabilities supporting Grooming brand websites and DTC online stores.
You will partner with Brand, IT, Legal, Privacy, Security, digital agencies, and external technology partners to translate business needs into technology solutions. Your work will help improve how consumers discover, engage with, and buy our products online through stronger digital experiences, better search visibility, improved conversion, consumer data activation, reliable operations, and compliant platforms. You will also help shape emerging MarTech opportunities such as Generative Engine Optimization / Answer Engine Optimization, personalization, social commerce, TikTok Shops, CRM automation, and new DTC capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and improve MarTech capabilities supporting Grooming websites and DTC online stores, including launches, migrations, content delivery, platform changes, and consumer experience improvements.
  • Translate Marketing and business needs into technology requirements, delivery plans, roadmap inputs, product backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Help Grooming brands win in digital discoverability by supporting SEO, Generative Engine Optimization, technical site quality, structured data, metadata, page experience, crawlability, and content performance.
  • Use reporting and analytics to identify opportunities and provide actionable recommendations across websites, DTC, CRM, content, GEO/SEO, ratings and reviews, data flows, and operational health.
  • Support consumer data activation, including CRM foundations, data flows, first-party data use cases, segmentation, audiences, personalization, and lifecycle journeys.
  • Identify and help scale emerging MarTech and digital commerce opportunities such as TikTok Shops, social commerce, CRM automation, AI-enabled digital operations, headless commerce, and personalized shopping experiences.
  • Ensure operational health, compliance, and service readiness for consumer-facing digital platforms, including privacy, security, access controls, audit readiness, documentation, SOPs, and support models.
  • Manage digital agencies, vendors, and platform partners to ensure quality delivery, reporting accuracy, compliance, documentation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is curious about digital marketing and enjoys working where business, technology, data, and consumer experience meet. You are comfortable translating between marketing and technical teams, structuring complex work into clear priorities, and using data to recommend improvements. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you should be technically fluent enough to understand digital platforms, data flows, tagging, analytics, and operational requirements. You should enjoy a role that combines business-facing MarTech work with the operational discipline needed to keep consumer-facing platforms reliable, secure, compliant, and scalable.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Marketing Technology, Business Technology, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working with consumer-facing digital platforms such as websites, eCommerce/DTC, CRM, content management, digital analytics, or related MarTech platforms.
  • Experience translating business or marketing requirements into technology requirements, delivery plans, product backlogs, or implementation plans.
  • Working knowledge of digital analytics, tagging, reporting, data flows, or dashboarding for consumer-facing digital platforms.
  • Experience working with external delivery partners such as digital agencies, technology vendors, platform partners, or development teams.
  • Working understanding of privacy, security, access control, or compliance requirements for consumer-facing digital experiences.
  • Ability to work from the Boston office 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DTC/eCommerce platforms, CRM platforms, data flows, web content management, ratings and reviews, or marketing automation tools.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with SEO, Generative Engine Optimization, structured data, schema, metadata, page performance, crawlability, or digital discoverability.
  • Experience supporting consumer data activation use cases such as segmentation, audiences, personalization, lifecycle journeys, or first-party data activation.
  • Experience with Agile, product backlog management, roadmap planning, launch readiness, digital product ownership, or digital project delivery.
  • Experience with IT operations, incident management, change management, ITIL, SRE/observability, operational support models, or service management.
  • Experience managing digital agencies or cross-functional delivery partners in a global or regional environment.
  • Experience with emerging digital commerce or MarTech areas such as TikTok Shops, social commerce, headless commerce, AI-enabled digital operations, AI search readiness, or personalized shopping experiences.
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, retail, eCommerce, digital marketing, or other fast-moving consumer-facing industries.
