The team specializes in highlighting each brand’s unique purpose and aligning digital initiatives with clear business goals. By leveraging modern tools and technologies, BLVD Interactive helps clients achieve measurable success and sustainable growth.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid position based in Plano, TX, requiring employees to work on-site three days per week. The ideal candidate will be proficient with AWS Cloud products, GitHub, AEM Managed Services, and AEM as a Cloud Service. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining AWS infrastructure, collaborating with IT security teams, and ensuring the smooth deployment of code releases following best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Code Deployment & Automation: Automate the deployment process and ensure smooth and routine code releases using industry best practices. Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment pipelines.
  • AEM Managed Services & AEM as a Cloud Service: Support the management and optimization of AEM Managed Services and AEM as a Cloud Service, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Collaboration with IT Security Teams: Work closely with IT security teams to implement security controls, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud environments.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring tools to proactively detect issues and perform root-cause analysis to resolve performance or infrastructure problems. Maintain operational health and performance of cloud systems.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain thorough documentation of infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and operational workflows. Establish and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Utilize GitHub for version control, implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and ensure efficient management of code repositories.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure usage to keep costs in check while maintaining performance and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
  •  Proficiency with AWS Cloud Products: Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and other cloud tools.
  • Experience with AEM Managed Services & AEM as a Cloud Service: Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), particularly in cloud environments, including AEM Managed Services and AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Version Control with GitHub: Proficiency with GitHub for code management, including pull requests, branching strategies, and repository management.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Solid experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Security & Compliance: Experience working closely with IT security teams to implement security best practices and ensure that cloud infrastructure meets security requirements.
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Terraform, CloudFormation) for infrastructure as code (IaC) and process automation.
  • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-based infrastructure and application issues. 
  • Team Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar AWS certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Containers & Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS/EKS is a plus.
  • Experience with Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar tools for tracking performance and health metrics.
