The Technical Pre-sales organization is the key element to successful opportunity identification, qualification, and execution. Providing the technical expertise to understand the customer's current state and future state as well as identify the Baker Hughes portfolio solutions that can be deployed to deliver the desired outcome.

As Digital Technical Pre-Sales Leader - Completions, Intervention, & Measurement, you will be responsible for:

  • Translating customer needs into technical requirements, integrating existing systems and workflows
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Coordinating between Product, Implementation, and Sales teams to define and generate technical proposals.
  • Leading functional design specification activities with client to efficiently define and confirm technical deliverables.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
  • Participating in client meetings and presentations to articulate technical concepts and demonstrate the value of the proposed solutions.
  • Working with customers, sales resources, and technical experts to create impactful product demonstration capabilities.
  • Participating in the prioritization and planning of implementation activities in the region.
  • Communicating key opportunity details to a wide range of audiences both commercial and technical, internal and external, from user level to executive.
  • Leading initiatives and projects of large scope and impact.


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Have Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Digital Oil Field projects
  • Proven the ability to influence others and work within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Have direct experience overcoming the technical challenges associated with software deployment and digital solutions more broadly.
  • Have demonstrated ability in oilfield completions, well intervention, or downhole monitoring technology.
  • Have passion to solve complex customer challenges.
  • Have desire to be a thought leader and be excited to champion internally and externally.
  • Have strong sales process understanding and management (pipeline and territory management, customer prioritization and engagement, etc.)
  • Have the ability to show and deliver value to the customer.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Effective problem identification and solutioning skills.
  • Have Proven analytical and organizational ability.
