Job description

Digital Experience Manager

Provides day-to-day management of enterprise-wide Memorial Health digital experience functions including social media, internal communications platforms such as WorkVivo and Teams, email, intranet, website and emerging platforms. Ensures that internal and external digital touchpoints are intuitive, accessible, on brand and aligned with organizational priorities and voice. Leads a team of digital social specialists, web specialist and platform specialists, and works collaboratively with team members in creative services, internal and external communications, senior analyst and others to mobilize enterprise-wide strategic digital experiences that support the organization's business goals and are consistent with Memorial Health System standards of excellence. Embodies the Memorial Health System values of Safety, Integrity, Quality and Stewardship, in support of our mission, vision and goals.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics, business, IT or related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • Five to eight years of marketing, analytics, business, or IT experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience and success with high-performing digital experience deployment in the corporate setting, preferably in healthcare.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted digital experience advisor to team members, organizational leaders and business partners.
  • Demonstrated success leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams in a complex fast-growing organization.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align digital experience efforts to organizational growth, volume and reputation goals. A deep understanding of healthcare markets, patient behaviors, and external communications needs specific to Memorial Health's market.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, UX principles and content management system, including WorkVivo and other platforms adopted by Memorial Health.
  • Demonstrated success in high-performing social media content development and strategy.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools used to support digital content, analytics, personalization, accessibility and workflow optimization
  • Ability to evaluate, apply, and govern AI capabilities in alignment with organizational policies, healthcare regulations and brand standards.
  • Experience partnering with analytics, IT or digital teams to responsibly leverage AI-driven insights and automation.
  • Expert ability to draft, edit and create professional content and communications materials reflective of the Memorial Health brand and voice.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to guide the creation of complex organizational plans and strategies that provide clear, compelling reasons to take action.

Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Supports the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and the Director of Marketing & Brand in enterprise-wide marketing and digital communications functions.
  • Manages and leads the day-to-day work of a team of content creators and public relations specialists focused on enterprise-wide external communications, media relations and public relations.
  • With oversight from the Director of Marketing & Brand and the VP of Marketing & Communications, collaborates with third party vendors, other system leaders and staff to draft digital experience vision, policies, procedures and frameworks, and prioritizes digital initiatives based on business impact, user needs and resource availability. Leads the implementation of this vision across owned platforms ensuring consistency, accessibility and an intuitive experience for users.
  • Collaborates with internal and external communications to effectively roll out emerging platforms, set standards for use, and promote ongoing user adoption and education.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Senior Analyst to establish meaningful digital experience metrics across web, social, and internal platforms, contributing insights that support enterprise-level reporting by the Director of Marketing & Brand.
  • Leads the Marketing & Brand team on AI innovation including AI-enabled content and experience optimization, AI-driven analytics and insights, conversational and self-service experiences, accessibility and UX support tools, and workflow automation & efficiency.
  • Collaborates with leaders to shape departmental and organizational and AI governance, risk and ethics policies and processes.
  • As a working manager, assists supervised team members with drafting, editing and deploying content.
  • Ensures that marketing and communications materials follow organizational strategic priorities and business goals that drive growth, improve reputation and advance enterprise objectives.
  • Through the direction of the Director of Marketing & Brand, contributes to developing an enterprise-wide external communications plan with initiatives that are data-informed, results driven and aligned with standards of excellence.
  • Builds cohesive alignment among and collaborates with MarComm teams on clear priorities, shared goals and best practices. Holds consistent meetings and touchpoints with department managers, team members and business partners to align on workflows, deadlines and to keep work flowing smoothly among the department leads.
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with leaders across the enterprise. Ensures materials meet regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Provides strategic counsel to services lines and Business Partners as the team anticipates digital needs and proactively recommends approaches and tools.
  • Stewards the Memorial Health System brand, ensuring consistent, high-quality brand expression across all channels and platforms. Leverages automated systems and processes when possible.
  • Guides social media strategy to support brand engagement, reputation and organizational goals.
  • Supports documentation of processes, team standards and cross-functional workflows.
  • Maintains up-to-date records of project status, timelines, and deliverables using adopted team project tracking tools.
  • Develops annual goals consistent with Memorial Health System's Strategic Plan and Goals, and monitors the status of goal achievement using 30-day action plans.
  • Maintains professional affiliations as appropriate. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in continuing education, in-service meetings/seminars and workshops.
  • Performs other related work as required or requested.
